PFFFF THAT IS AN EPIC VIDEO. The other day, one of my friends was attempting to get me to sing that song, and in my head all I could see was Pedobear and the Colonials.
Oh man I am so freaked out. Last night before I went to bed I was looking at fanart of Rome and tiny Italy bros and said "He needs to draw official art of them like that!"
I wonder if this is an old sketch, though early Rome in the Chibitalia strips had slightly different hair. Or maybe the thing that look like moustaches is actually something else? (no idea what though) There's also some sort of oval under his right eye... so maybe the sketch got some scratches? Or they were other sketched lines? No idea, really... but I wish Himaruya would finish it... though I doubt he'll do it...
Actual BABY Italies? So cute! It looks like Rome's got his 'stache going on too, so it looks like older!Rome is still valid, possibly.
I wonder if Romano's still supposed to be physically older there, or if they're both something like twins? Of course, nations age differently and their familial relations aren't really the same as standard human ones, yet it's something to wonder.
The Italies don't seem to have grown their curls yet either, unless Himaruya left them out, but I say it looks intentional. So if they're babies here, I suppose the "Chibitalia"/"Chibiromano" stages would be something like preschoolers (though both Himaruya and the anime staff seem to be inconsistent on how exactly small the chibi-nations are supposed to be...).
I can't make out enough of the kanji in the speech bubbles to translate (I'm not nearly that good at Japanese yet... ORZ), but it's definitely Romano because he's calling Rome "jiiji", which is a term for "grandpa".
