There is actually a lot interesting talkback by Himaruya from that post that the little pictures don't do enough in explaining.

More elaboration on the guns, him thinking it's important to study the birth of Germany and unification of Italy, something with WW2 Prussia, Germany, and Italy, Sweden and Finland's forces, etc. I hope to see a translation from someone, or rather, I beg for it, hnngh. Please translators? <3

Although, more studying on the birth of Germany and the Italian unification is sure making squeal. <3 I would be happy if he dissected the whole Romantic era, but I doubt that would happen. (French Revolution~!)

True, though fantard that I am I'd rather he hint and stop shy, rather than cackle evilly before disproving the thoery (if that is his intention anyway, I doubt that'd be his style, he's much too nice but you never know D8). Though of course I'd MUCH rather it was proved right without a shadow of a doubt =P

Aww, don't worry. D: *hugs onto* Knowing Himaruya, the birth of Germany will probably not hint to either theory directly, so, people will still probably have their debates lest Himaruya actually finishes that archive in the distant future.

I have a feeling though, the "birth of Germany", if he ever does it, will pretty much have an archive where teen!Germany is introduced by Prussia and will carry on from there. Considering how America wasn't really established/"birthed" until he was a teenager as well. Risorgimento didn't happen until the Itabros were teenagers too.

That and as a result, both the HRE=Germany and HRE=/=Germany theory will still be intact. The HRE=Germany seems to hint that, in concept sketches (both discarded and not), HRE will grow up into a teenager before finally disappearing at the end of the French Revolution, and would carry on as Germany. The HRE=/=Germany theory would take official canon into account and probably theorize that HRE disappeared after he left to the Thirty Years War and another character that would become Germany would be born sometime he was gone and be a separate character altogether. I, hope, it will be the former though, ha ha. ;; *hugs you* /hopeless fangirl here and would be crushed otherwise

Bingo. This is exactly what will happen, and depending on what theory you support, it will feed your headcanon. Oh, Himaruya, you~. Admittedly, I want HRE=Germany as bad as the next GerIta fan, but I really love all the mystique behind it, so, I don't mind that we are still held in suspense even after that.
