[fanart] Happy Chinese New Year!

Title: Sin ni kuai lok
Author: grace118peachy
Characters/Pairings: China, Hong Kong, Macau; North and South Korea
Rating: G
Summary: Sin ni kuai lok is fookien.
Warning: too much red?

Since I'm in the Philippines I will use Fookien... however the media used "Kung hei fat choi" which is Cantonese. I also found in one site, the sticky rice cake that I like, Tikoy, is also in Cantonese.

This was posted previously but since it's the Lunar New Year it's related. Welcome year of the Metal Rabbit!

Buhyoo! Macau. Such rosy faces.

I think Himaruya's version is a guy with glasses XD

Yes, in the 2010 Christmas strips (http://www.horror-vacui.net/hetarchive/scanlation/shorts/hetastreeeem/xmas20119.php). When the nations are being checked for the special mark, Australia, New Zealand, Macau, and Taiwan all report in saying they don't have it.

Macau first appeared in Himuraya's sketches of possible designs for Portugal. However, he hasn't explicitly been referred to as such so it's not 100% certain.
