“How long have we known each other for, Sweden?”

Sweden doesn't answer. He feels like he'd known Finland forever, that there's always been that small, fiercely determined figure tucked somewhere in his peripheral vision. Logically, he knows that there must have been a time before Finland. Logically, he knows this, and it does not hurt his head to know this. His heart though, firm and shy, insists that even if there was a time before Finland, it doesn’t matter, because all he was doing was waiting for Finland. Like the earth when all was white and cold and cruel death when the giants roamed freely, he was barren nothingness before Finland. He has spent too many centuries listening to his head to go with it now. Besides, Finland.
