[Fanart] Alfred the football nut (reposted)

The first post was deleted because I didn't follow the posting etiquette ^^; Sorry, for the inconvenience if you were looking for it.

Recap: I had a dream...this morning of Alfred in this gear so I drew it. Since it would be boring to just share a fanart, are any of you interested in drawing pictures of other countries in the gear of their nation's favorite sport? I know what Canada's will look like XD but I'm interested in the other countries. And so...calling all artists!!

Title: Alfred the American Football Nut (plus various)
Author/Artist: kaya
Character(s) or Pairing(s): America (and various, I'll update the tags)
Rating: PG
Warnings: Testosterone (hopefully~)
Summary:
Nations in their favorite sport's uniform

I will be updating this myself because *drool* kaya needs more Hetalia in sports uniform!! Feel free to make separate posts of your art or add it to my post!

[update: Added China]

Once again: I dreamed of him like this with a map of New York state in the background. I love my crazy dreams~

Spain the futbol nut!

Totally forgot I had this set of chibis XD

France in Tour du France!

So in the deleted post, someone said France and various other European countries = soccer. I figured if soccer appeared several times it would be boring so I got a little creative~! I hope this sport is popular in France... ^^;

Ah yes, and...

3 seconds after that shot was taken <3

Japan loves baseball

...yes he's in pinstripes. What, they look nice~<3

Manchester England

Let England show you what real Football is, you dumb Americans (including myself)! I wonder what Manchester is like. It sounds so awesome =w=

Yao Diving

Okay...so China is more famous for their female divers, but I'm sure Yao doesn't mind XD

...and I'm also sure he won't mind this:

Think I'll stop here. Please draw the other nations~ Pretty please~

Part 2 right here

 I await your versions!

LOL that France one just made my day
Also Japan looks good in that uniform <3

*_* I LOVE YOU. GO G-MEN! (*ahem* I should explain: America is wearing a New York Giants uniform, specifically, Eli Manning (http://silentarchimedes.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/eli-manning.jpg)'s; he plays quarterback. The Giants are nicknamed G-men.)

THAT SPAIN. IS POSSIBLY. The most adorable thing I've ever seen.

Awwww, Japan, your Yankees uniform disappoints me. *purposely uses Mets icon*

And England. YES. A thousand times, yes.

[identity profile] omgimsuchadork.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Also: *adds to memories* Because stuff like this needs to happen in this fandom more.

[identity profile] omgimsuchadork.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm not a Giants fan, I was just surprised and excited to see him in a local uniform. I'm not a football fan in particular; I can watch it, I just don't follow it. What's weird is how I like the Mets and the NY Rangers. |D (Yankees had Matsui, but what about Ichiro?) /needs to learn to shut up about sports.

(Oh by all means, take your time! I like the regular home uniform best, but you're the artist, so you do what you want. ^_^ Thank you so much!)

[identity profile] omgimsuchadork.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
P.S. LOL China. So pretty. (I'm sorry I keep spamming you, I'm just excited.)

[identity profile] omgimsuchadork.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
"Rare" Rangers fan? Well, I suppose when you look at hockey compared to the rest of American sports. At least I'm not an Islanders fan and can still show my face and wear my team's colors. XD Those poor bastards. (Never was a basketball fan. I'm too short to have ever liked that game. I cheerlead, though?)

But... but... Ichiro's done, like, EVERYTHING (except win the World Series, but I also think a certain amount of luck is attributed to that. I mean, lookit Francoeur: he was a Met until September. He's a Ranger for one month and wins the pennant? That's not fair).

As for Piazza, I never liked him. He stole John Franco's number, and that never sat well with me. That, and he was a catcher who couldn't throw down to second base. Sure, he was hired for his bat, but you only get three chances a game. If you're gonna squat, throwing down is crucial, especially when you're in hitters' parks and people are going to run on you. That was nonsense, and I was never happier for the Mets than the day Piazza packed his things. 11 homeruns in that abysmal 2003 season? GTFO. /piazza-hate

Hmmm, if you stop when I stop, we'll be here quite a while. XD Just warning you.

They all look brilliant, I laughed out loud at France crashing! My favourite has to be England in the Manchester United football kit (I'm a United supporter but they are my home team though) - the team are doing so well at the moment!

[identity profile] omgimsuchadork.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
OH MY GOSH THAT ICON. That's freakin' adorable.

I remember when the Knicks were great! It was the '93 season and thereabouts I was in sixth grade and all my friends were like JOHN STARKS ♥♥♥

Most cheerleaders have an awesome physique. ... I have terrible upper body strength. One of my friends is a professional animator and I'm SO JEALOUS of her biceps. ;A;

It's fine, he can stay a Yankee. More people recognize that uniform, anyway. But... but... he never hit anything with that bat. :x My favorite player around that time, hmmm. Wright and Reyes broke out shortly thereafter, and that's all that matters to me. :D /fangirl

Not a tennis fan so much, but it seems that a lot of women's tennis players are Russian (or, at least, have Russian names)? Play with that as you see fit. :3

XD

[identity profile] omgimsuchadork.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
That's why the G train is fail, though. XD You take the F too? XD But I guess you're in Brooklyn if the G bothers you, not Queens. I'm from Queens.

Ewing was around forever, dude. He was a Knick in the '80s, man. Taller people always have the advantage. D:

Wright and Reyes are one of the best things to happen to the Mets recently. They're pretty good, if a little underperforming. Compare 2010 (79-83, 4th) to 2006 (97-65, 1st) and it becomes clear. doesn't hurt that they're my age and easy on the eyes as well. sexiest infielders ever.

Maybe not man!Russia but nyo!Russia? Or his sister(s)?

Your dad has great taste! I didn't copy this from any tourist site, this what I know: Manchester (I found that there is a Manchester in the USA too, in New Hampshire!) is the 3rd largest city in England. It's a mix of new and Victorian style buildings in the city centre, accompanied with a smaller version of London's "London Eye" ferris wheel. The city centre has been re-built over recent years after it was wrecked by an IRA bomb in 1996. Although Manchester looks like a mass of buildings and suburbs, we have lots of parks too, including one of the largest parks in Europe: Heaton Park. Sport is pretty big here with three stadiums: Old Trafford (home of Manchester United football club), the City of Manchester stadium (home to Manchester City football club - Man U's rivals) and The Lancashire Cricket ground (Cricket is played here but also bands will play big gigs here too, like Muse and the Foo Fighters. We also have an ice-hockey team too, The Manchester Phoenix team! (There used to be a team called the Manchester Storm, but I don;'t know what happened to them). Weather is rainy and grey most of the time, and cool - except in Summer when it can be sunny and hot. Sometimes we can get all 4 seasons in a day! XD Manchester had a musical hay-day in the early 90s called "Madchester", with a "rave" music scene and bands like New Order and The Happy Mondays. (dance and Indie music styles). As for now, it's a funky city with a big sense of fashion, individuality and people like to go out at the weekend and party in the clubs!

This is amazing, especially France XD
And England is ♥ except I'm much too loyal to my home team to really support him in a Manchester United uniform :P
Thank you for sharing these :)
