Characters shorter than Switzerland? (Cosplay help)

My friend and I are planning on doing Hetalia cosplay- she's a little taller than me and really wants to be Switzerland.
At first I wanted to be North Italy, but I think he may be taller than Switz? I'm not entirely sure. I could be Japan or Liechtenstein- but I want to know what options I have.
If it matters to you guys I have short brown hair and brown eyes (which is why I wanted to be Italy- my hair already has an ahoge). I can get a wig though :)

Personally, I don't think height really matters if there's something you really want to cosplay. Sure, it's a bonus if you're accurate, but as long as you're having fun, and like/understand the character you're cosplaying, accuracy isn't that important :) A little bit of a height difference isn't going to be that big of a deal.

With characters like Switzerland and Italy, no one is really going to remember which one is taller because they're not together all the time. So you'll be alright. :D If it does bother you though, you can wear shoes that make you a bit taller? (Which I do when I cosplay as twins with my friend, since the height is kind of important in a case like that.)

If you were curious, the Hetalia wiki lists Italy as being 5' 7.7" but does not give a height for Switzerland. http://hetalia.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Italy

Sounds like you'd make a good Liechtenstein, in my opinion, but Italia could be cute too~

As long as you don't mean your cosplay to be SUPER DUPER OMFG INCREDIBLY ACCURATE, then it's okay to be a little off. I mean, most of us are women cosplaying men, after all!

I think Swiss is about 5'6" or 5'7" because he's taller then Japan but not by much. So really I don't think you should worry about it.

I'm pretty sure Switzerland is shorter than Italy. Switzerland is younger, and his voice hasn't even dropped yet. xD

There are also Wy, Sealand, Egypt, Chibitalia, and Holy Roman Empire, but they'd make a weird couple with Switzerland for sure...

Yeah- I've been wanting to do a Hetalia cosplay for a really long time. If I can convice my friend to do more characters I might be Liechtenstein :)

It's Gakuen!Russia so it might be a weeeeee bit less cute than regular Russia. I'll post pics afterwards?

I think it's ok if a person thinks to themselves that someone shouldn't do a cosplay if they're super short and cosplaying a giant (or in my case are unable to wear contacts stupid eyes are too big but they shouldn't be mean to that person. D:

really it doesn't matter at all.
I cosplay Iceland.. and I have a friend who cosplays Norway. But she's shorter than me...
I don't care though, because I like Iceland waaaay too much <3 I absolutely want to cosplay him :'D
