We don't know, I highly doubt it. Besides last Christmas, he hasn't touched either series. xD We were lucky to get a Barjona comic last Christmas (was hysterical, by the way) and Noto-sama 6.

He hasn't updated the actual stories in forever though, hence why you technically aren't wrong, but... It's highly unlikely.

Kitakou chapter 19's still unfinished since '07, he deleted a bunch of Barjona and Kitakou stuff, he said he'd re-upload KitaPure (back in '08)...fff, yeah. I'd be surprised if he does something else related to them.

I had a similar thought myself, but I have feeling that is not the case. Lately, I've noticed Himaruya has been defining chins more, and it's something I face while I draw, but when drawing younger, more expressive faces, I'll make the head a bit bigger since their eyes are bigger, while older ones seem to be drawn smaller. Even between Germany and Italy, often times, Germany's head is drawn smaller than Italy's because of said proportion issue. It's something you need to catch yourself doing before you mess up.

It could also mean that despite his childishness, Italy is definitely at a adult size and age. Like, it's always been true, but you can't really argue against it.

Ha ha, true true. I am just being pretentious. It's just, if he hopes to not fall into a pithole while drawing people, he needs to really take a break on chibis. It may be easier, but it really over simplifies the way you draw everything after awhile. I don't want Himaruya papa's skills to stagnate like that. D:

The fact that he is at that height while wrapping his arm around Italy's shoulders show he is smaller than him, since doing so props up his body even more.

That would be really cute, if he was sitting on Grandpa's lap. xD Yeah, could be that Rome is younger here or something.

Those hands are terrible... I'm surprised no one pointed that out yet. The perspective seems really off with Rome's right hand. It looks as though Rome's arm is reaching down to hold on grab Italy, but that doesn't entirely make sense either since their heads are the same size despite implied depth. That and all the fingers (save tiny pinky) being the same size just looks funky.

No offense, but I'm surprised you just noticed that hands aren't really Himaruya's strong point. I didn't point it out because he's made considerable strides compared to how he used to draw hands. It still needs work, but they look much better than they used to. c:

If anything, it looks like Rome is reaching up to wrap his arm around Italy. o_o The problem is also how their hips line up. Italy looks taller in the image, but if Rome weren't leaning to the point where he looks like he'd fall, then he's be taller than Italy. ...And yet, he is still reaching up to Italy, like he'd actually fall.

I love this picture, but there are some wonky aspects of it, I won't lie. xD
