The picture of Belarus with Russicat above the potato pancakes, when one attempts/attempted to open it in a separate window(because the image was clearly broken and wouldn't show up) results in a 404 from the fc2 server. In addition, the image didn't work on Himaruya's site until about a minute ago, which meant it was hotlinked.

Potato pancakes are delicious! (As are regular pancakes--I like those more, really. I sort of thought he was going to talk about blini, since I can't read Cyrillic.) Himaruya says he likes them with soy sauce. I like them with applesauce. =u= But, yes, I'd love some pancakes. *p*

Draniki is best known as Latkas (The Hanukkah food)

Blini are much MUCH thinner. I wouldn't really call them pancakes. They're more like crepes
