Y-yeah I. Himaruya has a good sense of "cute" but his sense of "pretty" seems a tad off.

Hahaha, but there was this one strip I distinctly recall because it showed how morbid Himaruya sensei could be. It was a WW1 strip and the Germans were trying to get the Italians out of the trenches, so they'd call out a random Italian name and whoever pops out gets shot. It was apparently one of the jokes that he discovered. And he found it cute... Aaah, sorry, I wrote a lot.
