[Cosplay Test] Happy Birthday, Estonia!

/delurks

In honour of Estonia's birthday today (thank you for the alert in your post here, [livejournal.com profile] emlan!), I decided to post up a cosplay test shot of Estonia. It's of webcam quality, because we haven't gotten round to the actual shoot yet and this was done at 3am on a very bleary fun filled day...

Enough rambling, on to it?

"Eehh? My birthday?"

And that's it! Sorry once again for lack of photos/actual purpose of this post apart from displaying my love for Estonia. :'D

[edit] Also, a little fun fact for Estonia that I found out recently: The Singing Revolution.

Excerpt:
Most people don’t think about singing when they think about revolution. But song was the weapon of choice when Estonians sought to free themselves from decades of Soviet occupation. The Singing Revolution is an inspiring account of one nation’s dramatic rebirth. It is the story of humankind’s irrepressible drive for freedom and self-determination.

Here's to Estonia! Happy Birthday!

Kyaaaaa this is so amazing ;o; You look great.

I wish I could remember the Singing Revolution, too bad I was a baby back then ;__; My mom went to it and it's one of her most treasured memories. One of the most beautiful songs in our history which was banned (like most of our Estonian songs where we didn't praise Russia) was sung there, it always brings a tear to my eye. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy9ntiw5Cv8 from the Song Festival held this summer, from 9 pm to 3 am at night xD We held it for our dear brothers in Georgia, when the Georgian/Russian "war" was cooking up.
