Romano Question

I have a question regarding Romano's background. I remember reading in another post (about his human name) that someone found mention of a city named Lovinum. I am extremely interested in it and its connection to Romano, but I cannot really find any info on it.

So... for those of you who managed to find it in your research, what did you find? Where did you find it? Can you give me some direction for my own research and headcanon/story?

I'm not sure actually. I believe they are 2 different cities - has anyone come across this? Its always hard when things get translated >_<

Historically, Romano would have represented the Kingdom of two Sicilies, an earlier combo of Sicily and Naples.
