Hetalia Day- Kansas City Metro
Hello Kansas City Hetalia fans!
I'm heading a Hetalia Day gathering in Kansas City, and I invite both those from Kansas and Missouri sides of the line to come join us on 10/24/10.
Here's the info I have for you all:
Location:
Minsky's Pizza
427 Main Street
Kansas City, MO 64105
We will be at the City Market location for Minsky's, a Kansas City local pizza, pasta, etc. restaurant. A meal there will run you from about six to twelve dollars. I have their large party room reserved, so we WILL be separate from the rest of the establishment. It is an ALL AGES establishment, so any fan is welcome. If you don't want to eat, that is fine. You are welcome to just attend. Here is a menu.
When: Sunday 10/24/09 at 3:30 P.M. I have the party room reserved until 7:00 P.M., so if you can't get there quite that early, it's fine. We have hours! If you get to the restaurant and you don't see us, just ask where the O'Connor party is.
What to bring: Whatever you want! You can come in cosplay if you wish, certainly, although it is by no means required. We will certainly be getting photos of the group though, so look your Hetalia best! We encourage you to bring anything that you might think fun to share with fellow fans as well. :)
Plans so far: General Hetalia shenanigans, socializing, fun and Hetalia related games (with possible prizes)! We ran this event last year and had a ton of fun. We're going to bring something special for dessert as well. Minsky's allows you to draw on the tables (they put paper down), so you might bring some crayons or colored pencils along. It would be awesome to have a giant Hetalia Day collage.

Anyway, yeah I'm totally going and three of my friends are, maybe two more! :D I hopefully will be cosplaying England, just waiting for my wig to come in! :D

As for cosplay, I'll probably be going in my casual England. Since I'll be running around a lot being the one running it, I wanted to wear something really comfortable. So yay fellow Englands. ♥
