Rome is talking about Queen Boudica, who lead the Indiginous Britons against the Romans to try and restore independance to England. She burnt London to the ground in the process :o because Londinium was a Roman-built city. After that, England wanted nothing more to do with her and became part of the Roman Empire, resulting in the Anglo-Roman culture.

This is the reason London has a fear of fire...

And here I would have thought London would have anxiety about fire from the 1666 Great Fire or any of a number of problems throughout its existence. The poor fellow just has a messed up history.

Left-handed tiny England is intriguing. We all know England just wants to give America hugs when he's not being a jerk. Who wouldn't want to?

Mothers call daughters 'cleverclogs' when they've done well at school, teachers say it to students, friends say it to each other :o its not meant as an offensive term at all!

Its just a way of saying "Oooh arent you clever!" in a sort of playful way. Honest, not all British slang is horrible T^T alright most of it is but THIS isnt!

also; lmao, "clever dick" doesnt literally mean "you're a dick" XD the full term is "clever dickens" and its probably a ref to charles dickens, who was clever lol :)

I always thought that NY looked talian because there's a lot of South Italians in NY/America, and my stereotypical image of a NYer is very ... uh, South Italian-ish? HahahaI'm going to get shot, aren't I? But I can see NY and the Italies just hanging out and picking up chicks.

Grandpa Rome > Romano/Germany/England/France/Ireland > NY

But only from the 1820's onwards. Before then NY had a bunch of other accents, when he was little it was Dutch, when he was a teenager it was German, then Irish, and eventually Italian just stuck when he got involved with the mafia lol
