Warnings: I was reading the newspaper today and I decided to doodle it into Hetalia...It seemed like it needed it D:

In case you haven't been reading the paper...A Japanese patrol boat was plowed into by a Chinese fishing boat. The Japanese think that this was deliberate and that China is edging its way into their territory. Of course military action can only be taken by the US, because of Japan's security treaty.

Meanwhile Obama was recently pressuring China's Pres, Mr. Jintao, to stop keeping the renminbi down in value. He's been saying it for a while but Americans tend to get desperate to show things their party has accomplished before any elections ^^;


Oh yeah, and the US just told Japan they need to pay more for protection.

....being poor has nothing to do with anything :P

I was keeping up with this on the news too. pff, of course the Chinese won't bring up the value. The Japanese did that and it killed their economy for a while :p It's nice seeing it Hetalia-style. Very cute drawings~ Yay for educational fancomic!

Obama threatened more tariffs on Chinese imports apparently. I wonder if he'd actually go through with that. It may make Walmart and China angry...

They already do that tho. I think that would be bad for them to put more on. American products are mostly hi-tech and are prolly used a lot for industry.

I actually think Hetalia works well when it comes to the normal trade agreements and territory disputes...I just wouldn't use it to illustrate things like the Russian government killing journalists, etc. Maybe we shouldn't deal with politics +death on an Lj forum ^^;

He had a heart attack while he was being sedated for semen extraction. It was in a Japanese zoo, so some people were suspicious of the death.

uh oh, that can't be good...with all the tension between the two countries of recent :/ I'm sure China imposed some sort of penalty for that though.
