Prince Paul of Wy draws... Wy from Hetalia?

Earlier this week on the blog for Prince Paul of the Principality of Wy (an artist by profession), he posted... well, just see for yourself.

Wy believes that all disagreements between nations, large and small, should be resolved by art, music and poetry competitions.

Now there is no mention of Hetalia anywhere as far as I can see in the post or elsewhere on the site... But COME ON. It can't be a coincidence can it?

If I didn't tag this post properly please tell me so I can correct it.

ETA: Though I do think he should at least link to Hetalia and/or mention it as an inspiration, as cool as this picture is.

I don't know... Considering that Hetalia has been called racist, a nazi comic, etc, and also considering there are people who think anime is full of crazy people, I doubt it would be a good idea for him to mention Hetalia.

I'm not saying it's BAD to like anime and manga or Hetalia, but it's best that he doesn't dig himself into a ditch by mentioning he just painted a picture of a character from a comic that has gotten a lot of negative attention.
