[Cosplay] Fan Expo pictures

I think I'm the first person sharing photos for Fanexpo on the LJ comm because everyone in the GTA likes to horde their pics to themselves.

So here you go! I didn't take many photos as I didn't see very many Hetalia cosplays during the weekend. Apparently there was a meet somewhere, but I didn't want to risk not being allowed back inside after they shut all the doors.

Ps: I went as Casual France on the friday, so thanks to everyone who said hi, and that one cosplayer (Canada?) who held a quick conversation with me in french lol!

The very flashy Childrens Day group from the weekend. France's contacts scared me quiet a bit actually ;u; They were very nice. Matador!Spai is like, the sexiest cosplay ever, I swear.


And here was the group that was sitting in the main hall next to us on Friday. I wasn't facing them, but it sounded like they were having fun.

I was there! On Friday and Sunday, though I wasn't in Hetalia cosplay. My journal only has that one picture of the back of the Russia in front of us and some Hetalia merchandise ^ ^;;

FINALLLLLYYYY FanExpo pictures. Just to be sure, this is the Toronto FanExpo right? If this is not about the Toronto one, you can ignore my ramblings down there.

I went on Saturday, a horrible day to go since I got caught in the "over capacity problem during noon" so my groups were only there for less than 2 hours. And my friend's camera happened to not work too. I went as Vietnam. It was the first time I cosplayed so I had no confident and my wig didn't have time to get trim right. I saw some Hetalia cosplays but I was too shy to even say hi to them. They didn't recognize Vietnam either.

Hey fellow Vietnam cosplay. Let see, my friends(non-cosplayers) arrived there at about 11. Line up, went in the dealer room, went outside to eat hotdog, couldn't get back in before 2:00 to attend the 2 PM WORKSHOP: VOICE ACTING 101WITH JAMIE MARCHI & VIC MIGNOGNA That was the only thing I looked forward to since I already missed the autograph signings. We went to China Town for an hour, then came back again. Re-entry doors were still shut. My friends didn't want to wait so we left -_________- all in all, it wasn't a great FanExpo experience. I saw some Hetalia cosplays in the lobby before we left the building to buy hotdog but I was too timid to say hi to them.

I only saw 1 Prussia across the street when I was lining up, and maybe a couple of Hetalia cosplay. It was crowded outside. It was hard to spot people. Do you have any pictures of yourself as Vietnam? My friend's camera didn't happen to work that day. I only took a couple side view pics of myself while lining up.

I was there from like 10:30AM to 7:00PM. I pretty much walked around and shopped. I got myself a yaoi paddle and so I was Vietnam with a yaoi paddle. (It works okay?) I bought food inside the convention centre so I didn't need to go out. I was in the Voice acting 101. ^_^' After that I went to Chinatown and changed.

I don't have a picture of me in my Vietnam cosplay so of now, my dad took my camera and I still don't have it. ;A;

Wow you were there the whole day. The China Town festival was fun. My group bought some food there. I didn't have a paddle. My Mom bought me a long red-painted bamboo stick. She said bamboo was very important to Vietnam culturally and economically. I didn't want to disappoint her so I carried the bamboo stick. How was the voice acting? Did anyone mention Hetalia?

Well in the voice acting place, it was pretty much just Q&A about their career. But in the second one with Vic personally, then yeah there was Hetalia mentioned.
