Pushed back release date?

Did the release date of the second season get pushed back? I got an email from Amazon.com saying that it had been. This is what it said:

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:
           
  Artist Not Provided "Hetalia: Axis Powers - The Complete Second Season"
    Estimated arrival date: November 01 2010 - November 05 2010

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

Did anyone else get this or am I just lucky?

Thats odd. Maybe they are going back and changing things that some of us don't like? I did not preorder online (I go through a local anime store) so I am not sure about that?

Which was admittedly a bit of a relief considering I immediately thought it was about a required textbook that I'm still waiting to get in the mail.

Rightstuf has it listed for oct 12. so I called them and asked about it. They stated that as of now, the release date has not been changed but is subject to change.

I'm getting mine from Best Buy, and the website there has the release date for 10/19/2010. :|

I disagree. I like the brashness of Hetalia. It's always been like that and in your face and just as offensive. Just because we hear it in English doesn't make it any different than when it is subtitled.

It also gives an insight on how people truly sees the world. Like the Catholic line that Germany has. In Germany, they truly think Catholics are crazy and just don't get them.

People just need a thicker skin. That's how the world truly is

I got an update from Amazon, too. But the estimated delivery date in mine was only pushed a week from October 12 to October 19. Checked Amazon and the listing says it's scheduled for release on October 19 as well. I subscribe to the Amazon PRIME thing which guarantees delivery on the release date (we'll see...).

They might be fulfilling orders based on estimated stock in hand & customer order dates. You know, shipping earliest order dates first and anticipating a restock for later order dates.

Well it IS different from the original. They changed quite a lot. Even so I'm not sure if I like it or not ... but I think it is harsher than the original.
I'm still not sure if i'll buy it or not~
But if i do i won't preorder it.

Too bad 65% of the Christians in Germany are protestant while only 35% are Catholic. And that Protestantism started in Germany by Martin Luther because he was fed up with the Catholic church.

But you're right. I shouldn't have said "most Germans" because 35% is still a huge chunk of people. And Since it was the Holy Roman Empire and Prussia at one point, it was Catholic for a long ass time. So I do see your argument.

I guess after 23 years of living and working in theatre and mass communications (both are very cut throat fields that don't care about people's emotions), petty things like stereotypical jokes just don't bother me. Besides, they're jokes. don't take them personal. It's not like they're pointing their fingers at you and saying "You ARE this because you're American!" or whatever.

No both are around 30% and around 60% of the Germans are Christians. But that's not important all I wanted to say is that NO we germans don't think Catholics are crazy XD

I like stereotypical jokes as long as they ARE jokes and not overly insulting like some of them are. (stereotypes can be very funny~) But yeah i can see your point and how you aren't bothered by them ^^

Yeah, I asked Char about it and she said they had to push it back a week. So instead of the 12th, it'll be the 19th. Not sure exactly why though
