Photos from AnimagiC 2010

So here I am a week after the event with photos. :'D I apologise for the delay, but there are photos from all three days of AnimagiC to (hopefully) make up for it. Most of the pictures are taken by myself, some (mainly those where I'm seen) by [livejournal.com profile] nyoo_nee/tamuki.

This is almost the same post as on my personal journal (for those on my f-list) except with only the Hetalia-related pictures included. Even so, this post is quite picture-heavy beneath the cut.

But let's move on to AnimagiC 2010!

Friday, July 30th.

We went casual for the first day and mainly found our way to the Beethovenhalle by following cosplayers. XD With a stroke of luck we immediately ran into friends (well, tamuki's friends) after arriving at the con.

The joint team behind the name [livejournal.com profile] prumano. They were super friendly and helpful and all sort of awesome for showing us around the area. :D They later changed into Germania and Rome, but for some incomprehensible reason I didn't get a photo of them. ;A;

Still more familiar people ahead. Two steps from the Prumano team we ran into this group of Austrians who had contacted us earlier in LJ. I think it's [livejournal.com profile] secret_secret as Seychelles and [livejournal.com profile] toshi_hakari as Austria, if my memory doesn't fail me. :'D

We ended up running into each other quite repeatedly during the con and had an awesome time. >D Afterwards... I have no recollection. We mainly walked around and ogled at all the cool cosplayers and asked for a picture whenever we could catch the time and had the guts to ask. XD

Eventually we found the other group of friends we were looking for and hung around them for some more time! (Tamuki and me also found the most disgusting pizza in, if not the whole of world, then at least in Germany.)

Saturday, July 31st.

Barely slept the previous night because of being too nervous and excited. XD Because it was our first day of cosplay! We were Finland and Sweden from Hetalia, and got many amused and enthusiastic reactions when we told people we are Finnish. :'D

M'wife, except I couldn't say it to her face without cracking up. XD There was a Hetalia meet later in the day, and probably because of that there was an influx of kick-ass Hetalia cosplayers. Like all these guys:

There were also surprisingly many football versions of the nations, like these guys...

... so when someone threw a football into the meeting, something like this was bound to happen.

Later on, things got a little... weird. :"D

(I admit it was a bit of a stalkery photo but come on, when they're sitting right in front of me, what was I supposed to do? XDD)

Sunday, August 1st.

Tamuki decided to cosplay Finland again after all (but only for the early part of the day), so we were Finland and Germany for the last day of AnimagiC. My costume wasn't really mine, it was on a loan from [livejournal.com profile] hekiseijuro, and proved itself to be very popular. :'D Though I walked most of the day with the jacket off because it was insanely hot and humid during the day.

Spotted this historical Catholic!Prussia quite early on.

And I only afterwards correctly identified this Netherlands (there were two, but unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them together) as one of the Prussias from yesterday. She was really cool and friendly too (and had probably the best reaction ever when I told her we came from Finland XD).

Later in the evening we tried to ask around if there was going to be another Hetalia meet (as scheduled) but it seemed a lot of people had sort of wandered off or broken into smaller groups. In any case we ran into these guys and had a short but hilarious moment together.

(I only afterwards noticed Spain was missing her shoes. XD) I can unfortunately only identify [livejournal.com profile] prussiablue as the uniformed Prussia here. France was fantastic and perfectly in character (she tried to help me put on my jacket, failed miserably, and we concluded that France is only good at stripping people, not dressing them up).

And then... Well. We found our friends, said goodbye to them, walked some of them to the railway station and said bye again, then got on the train and left for Hannover. ;A; Three days went by so fast!

I don't suppose that many people from the con have LJs, but I just made myself an account on animexx, so if you find yourself in a photo/remember speaking to us/whatever crosses your mind, feel free to identify yourself. XD
