A whole bunch of us Hetalians got together for a meetup at the Botanic Gardens in the Chicago area.

Here are some pictures from that event. Sorry they're so late!

Then Switzerland and Liechtenstein wanted to get married.

England was acting as priest. Poor guy was so nervous around Switzerland.

I've got a Milwaukee meet-up planned for this month, though. I need to get a Canada shirt and make an ahoge, though...

Thank you so much for posting these! The meet was so much fun! Though, it was a bit hot... at least I decided against wearing my uniform and we did stop to rest and eat. I'm glad I got to meet some new people as well as see some people I knew from ACen and SoyCon again too. Though ACen was my first convention (and also my first time cosplaying) I knew after that, I was hopelessly hooked!

I'm actually thinking of planning a meetup day there in the winter if no one else does it before me... KOLKOLKOL (Perhaps I should begin a post in September and ask people what days in December/January they know they could not come.)

There were so many amazing things that happened, I'm glad that everyone had cameras everywhere! And that it ended up being such a beautiful day! Oh maan, and the girl in the Communist Ushanka! xDD I was sad I didn't end up getting to wear that lol! But this meet-up was so fun that hopefully there will be a next time, right? x)
