Russia.  I was thinking of the 1917 Revolution while drawing it, and the Chernobyl Incident when I was colouring it.  Something about that says something about me O_o;

This took me quite a while because I wanted to get the colour to be somewhat like the scheme of the original "Love is War" image of Hatsune Miku.  But then after fiddling around and screaming for help from midnightbanshee, she decided that this looked the best.  Thank you so much TT____TT

And yes, the pose IS inspired by the Hatsune Miku picture from "Love is War," but I'll say with a clear conscience that I was at work, at my desk, and without anything to reference from, much less trace.

Just a simple picture of N.Italy and Canada.  I had no idea of what to do exactly with the request because the pairing just sounded like a bunch of fluff and sugar XD; so all I could do was chibis, sorry!  Canada is still shy.

Oh wow. I don't care about the inspiration or whatever, really: the Russia picture is AWESOME. It's so very intense, and the pose is so well done! It's so good I kind of worried for a while about trying to comment because I feel I may make a huge miss on the symbolism and look stupid. U_U All I can say is "total breakdown"? It really looks like the poor thing is finally coming apart here. Oh God, also, the megaphone makes me think of warning sirens... for obvious reasons, but... call me crazy, but I can imagine that being almost like a constant sound inside his head, blaring continuously on some place of his subconscious that Russia would not like to visit.

Nuuuts. I'm nuts.

And of course Italy and Canada picture is adorable. Sorry if I can't say much about that one: the Russia picture just captured my attention hard. *_*

Well, they did say that the Chernobyl Incident is probably one of the catalysts of the collapse of the Soviet Union, so I guess in a way this is another total breakdown for Russia.

He's always screaming in his head. I'm surprised he goes to sleep at night.

Haha, the moment I saw the title I was instantly reminded of Miku's 'Love is War'. It's really chilling to put the song on while looking at it, too. And the Chernobyl Incident? Wow, that's equally chilling. And the picture itself is amazing @_@ Especially that you got the pose without reference.

I really wanted to draw something to that song when I heard it, and I thought that having Russia say "War is Love" just seems to ...fit. Chernobyl has been in my mind for the past couple of days, ever since I saw a really haunting photo book of it last week O_O;;; (The pose was slightly difficult cuz Russia's bendiness cannot be like a woman's.)

Thank you^^ I hardly do really crisp type colouring (it's usually watercolour), so this was an interesting (if not tedious) challenge for me XD;; I didn't want to show too much of his face, the emphasis of the expression was to be on the body and the mouth.

Yeah, the presidents of Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Poland and the Prime Minister of Latvia. ALL IN ONE PLANE. This is so making me want to draw it Hetalia-fied, but it doesn't change the fact that it's high time for their securities to grow some brains. Heads of five countries are going to dangerous region all in one plane. At least the pilot had some brains and refused to fly straight to Tbilisi..
