Hello everyone!  :3 It's me, Lili again. >w< I'm here to remind you all about Anime Festival Wichita 6~! You know, it's about a week from it now! It's happening on July 9-11 at the Hyatt Hotel in Wichita, KS! :3 It's gonna be so much fun.

First of all, I'm dropping the AFW website link again. It's always important to have that. www.afwcon.org/ It has all the information you need to know about the con. Keep checking it for updates!

Now about the great Hetalia Photoshoot..... >w< ......The Hetalia photoshoot will be on Sunday, July 11. I know that for sure. Me and some of the others in our Hetalia cosplay group have been discussing the times of when it should be. It depends on the schedule of the panels and the events. =w=;; Unfortunately, it isn't out yet... But! You know... you can help discuss these things with us too. Follow this wonderful link to the Hetalia Cosplay thread in our forums and discuss with us about times and such. We want to all be together for this! afwcon.org/forums/viewtopic.php (the group list on the first post hasn't been updated in a while. I encourage that if you have a cosplay, go as the character you want. It doesn't matter if there are doubles in our group. The more the merrier, I always say! <3 )

*lol* Awww! I loved AFW last year. X33 Maybe because I was mostly hanging around my Katekyo Hitman Reborn cosplay group though. We had fun. ^^

hehe, AFW is the only anime convention I've been to. I'd like to try bigger cons one day. Because apparently, Hetalia is much bigger outside of Kansas. >w<;; I had to show most of my friends what Hetalia was because no one besides me and like, 2 others in the AFW forums knew about it when I started watching it last year.

Yeah, I just don't know that many people into anime in the Wichita area, honestly. I feel awkward going to a small convention alone where I don't really know anyone. All of my cosplaying friends are in Texas, so lawl. There's going to be a big Hetalia cosplay picnic at the AnimeFest in Dallas.

Anime in general (let alone Hetalia) isn't that big in Kansas when you compare it to other states. There definitely seems to be more fans now than there was say seven or eight years ago, but yeah. When I started looking into attending cons six years ago, we didn't have any conventions in Kansas. It was rather funny because both AFW and Naka-Kon (which was up in Lawrence when it started, but it's now in Kansas City) started the year after I started attending cons. I kind of wish I'd started out with a smaller con instead of starting off with A-Kon, which was the fourth largest con in the US (I think?) at the time.

Talking about anime and Wichita reminds me of how much I miss our Suncoast.

I'm Kennasawlin from the AFW forums, and I'll be Alfred all weekend, and since I'll be volunteering As safety Monitor, I work 10:30am-1:30pm so if you find out a time, I'd absolutely would love to know so I can see if I can get out for the moment to do the photo-shoot

Yeah, before AFW, I actually never heard of anime conventions. But of course I still liked anime before I've gone to AFW. *lol* It was only after I've been to the first AFW that I heard about the other conventions. xD

OMG! Suncoast..... I still miss Suncoast. That place was the best...
