[Event] Hetalia NYC Gathering

 Hello everyone! I'd like to inform you about a gathering taking place on May 30th in New York City!
This Hetalia gathering will take place on Sunday, May 30th.  We will be meeting at Union Square, across the street from Barnes & Noble, Manhattan. The exact street is 33 east 17th Street.

The creators of the event thought it would be a good idea to post this in the community, so I did it for them. This event originated on facebook. If you don't have an account on facebook, just tell me you're coming and I'll add you to the official list. You can see the list below.

A small Hetalia gathering in NYC! We, roleplayers of Facebook or other people, meet in Manhattan and see each other in person! You can also cosplay as your favorite Hetalia character, or just be yourself! ^^

Anybody who lives in or near NYC are welcome to join the gathering! If you, coincidentally, are going to NYC around that time, then don't be shy and join the sights of NYC, Hetalia style!

The date of the gathering might change depending on how bad the weather is. If there's going to be any light rain, bring an umbrella!

Our schedule might be a world lunch outing at Union Square Park, a trip to Chelsea Piers and Battery Park for a photoshoot and mini skits.

Everybody must wear comfortable shoes because we might have to walk around alot. Everybody who is cosplaying will be bringing food from around the world and non-cosplayers will join and eat, or buy some lunch at Kinokuniya Cafe. I also advise to bring some money with you and a fully charged camera and spare batteries. Also, bring your metrocard just in case if we are taking the subway.

FYI, we cannot go the UN building because they have VERY HIGH securities there >.>

(By the way, there can be doubles of characters, even triples. Look how many Lithuania's we have. xD)

Oh! I was just thinking earlier today that I wanted to go cosplay in NYC sometime soon~ I may be able to show up as France or Austria, and possibly bring along someone else.. Though I don't know who they'd be cosplaying as of yet.
