Oh man, I read a story about that. Not that Japan was going to die in that one, but he walked up to China's house and saw Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan still frolicking around inside, and he just breaks down on the front step and cries because he misses them so much. And then he's forgiven because they all end up in tears.

*cringe* As a Chinese person myself, forgiving the Japanese will take... a long, long time. I have nothing personal against them since I'm only 20-something years old, but I'm not allowed to speak about anime (or even my Toyota car) in front of my grandparents. My parents are still kind of iffy on the Japanese.

The memories will fade with time, but not anytime soon, I guess. :/

No no, it's fine! :) Like I said, I have nothing against the Japanese myself. Chinese and Japanese kids my age or younger get along just fine (for the most part), but our parents and our grandparents are... probably not ever going to get along.

Plus there's the whole thing about pride... Japan's government still has trouble admitting they did what they did at Manchuria, and China's government is willing to be a nuisance about it. ^^;

Considering the facts, Canada would probably cover his self with nean signs to get noticed.
