I'm not really sure what compelled me to draw this, just being silly.

This next one was a pinch hit for

ghostofthemotif in the RussiAmerica secret santa exchange a few months back. It actually ended up turning out a lot better than my assigned fill. orz

The prompt was to have America serenading Russia to Frank Sinatra's Fly Me to the Moon. If you haven't heard it, GO LISTEN TO IT NOW.

_{This one isn't on DA because I recently found out my dad found my DA, and he's not too keen on gayness. I'm afraid to put it up and have him ask me about it. o_o;;; Do you guys think I should risk it and put it up?}

This was done 100% by hand, so I apologize for my awful lettering. I have weird handwriting. Those are a's, not 2's. -_-;

The snow picture is awesome! I love Russia's expression. He looks like as if not only he's angry, but also thinking of ways to get back at America tenfold.

And I was reading the last comic while listening to the song, so it was especially sweet. <333 I have heard the song before, but for some reason, my mind never acquainted Alfred and Frank Sinatra. I'm very glad that it has now. <3

Oh, wow, that 'Fly Me to the Moon' comic reaches Nutella-level sweetness! It's also terribly appropriate for the both of them, too! . . It makes me think of the Apollo-Soyuz linkup project . . the joint Russia-America space-station program in . . 1975?, which is pretty adorable in itself.
But, yeah . . if it were me, I wouldn't post it. . . thinking about the conversation that could initiate with my own Dad . . I'm all for keeping secrets in the name of maintaining harmony in the family! DX

I haven't browsed your entire dA gallery, but is there any gay in there already? Gallery, favorites, linked communities? Because unless your father is violently opposed to homosexuality it might not actually be a big deal to post it and open that conversation. My not-too-keen-on-gay parents were surprisingly okay with my gay drawings. I mean, depending on how much dA snooping he's done, he might already suspect?
