I like Apolo Ohno, so I felt like drawing fanart of him. (His last name can be used for so many bad puns Ohno I shouldn't start. XD)

1. This is what this whole "Cold War on Ice" thing is looking like. =_= There are things more important than who got gold...

2. If you don't get what this is referencing, go watch this.

3. Yeah, I'm not finishing this

4. Same thing

He didn't come off as a sore loser to me much at all, I think it's TV that's doing it (namely NBC) :(
I still can't forgive that one guy with the mustache on NBC before the Olympics came on, making tasteless jokes at Russia's expense, like we're still in the Cold War or something.
...I should just really be quiet before I start something lol orz;;;;;

That's pretty true; Plushenko is certainly miffed about the new judging system; I would be too! He'd have certainly won gold if it was the old system, I dare say. Even so, it's not as if he's throwing fits in front of every camera. I think he acknowledges that Lysacek is a good skater, and the fact remains that Plushenko had not skated in competition since 2007-- coming back and having Lysacek (and Takahashi! Whom everyone forgets about despite being only .5 behing Lysacek in short program!!) perform so well must certainly have shaken him a little.

Also lol yes NBC is one of the reasons why I hate news in America
(CNN is the other reason; jesus christ it's like The Young and the Restless of news shows BUT THAT'S A STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY;; )

No worries! XD
(and holy shit ranting lmao i'm sorry)

LOL YES, THAT SEGMENT. I actually loved the way they portrayed him (mostly because I hear that that's how he secretly likes to be portrayed XDDDDD) in that.
I watched the extended interview on nbcolympics.com and it was MUCH less theatrical (it was just Evgeni sitting in a chair talking to the camera! simple.) and much more to the credit of Plushenko's personality. I won't say he doesn't have a big ego though :P
But there are still plenty of athletes with MUCH bigger ones XDD

lmao Japan and Takahashi are like standing there all like "._. just stay out of it...."
