This is so obviously a bad photo of a watercolor it's not even funny. I swear I'm going to get my scanner software on my netbook soon! (-__-) Russia is so creepy, I don't know if I love him or will have nightmares about him... ♥



I like the sketch better, seriously. And I know exactly why, but I'm not going to point it out just in case you don't see it and actually like the watercolor.

These are lovely, especially the use of color on the watercolor.

But the facial expression on the sketch is a little... more expressive? More like Ivan, at least.

I like them both, they both offer very different atmospheres. I interpret the watercolour as depicting Russia in a mixed state of melancholy tranquility after a massacre, while the second seems more focused on sweetness with a tinge of insanity.

I like them both, but I like the second one better because I like how lively the lines are; they convey more of a sense of movement to me. But they're both lovely, so it's cool to see both versions!
