Question regarding fannon Vs. Cannon

I've been collecting loads of hetalia fanart and I've noticed how many characters seem to reappear in art done by different artists. My question is whether characters like Vietnam, Tibet and Cuba are Canon characters or just in the Fanon. Since I don't read Japanese I'm having a hard time figuring this out. If they are canon could anyone give me any info on them, that would be great.
ps: I really don't expect much info about Tibet

I don't know about Tibet or Vietnam... but Cuba does exist in canon.

I think Tibet is a fandom only, then again--I only say this because I've seen them draw two different ways...

Yeah, then again I'm surprised there's a Hong Kong...

They're all canon, with Tibet appearing once in the China-Japan short series. Vietnam was only featured in Himaruya's diaries, much like Taiwan and Hong Kong.

As others have said, they're all canon.

-Vietnam, along with another Asian nation who has spiky hair and glasses, appeared, so far, only in Hidekaz's blog.

-Cuba shows up in the manga where Canada is introduced.

-Tibet shows up for one strip in the China-Japan side manga.

Cuba is of course communist, likes ice-cream and sugar, abhors America, mistakes Canada for America all the time (but the two warmed up to each other after Cuba realized Canada is not in any way America or America's subordinate). According to Himaruya Cuba's bordering on having metabolic syndrome presumably due to sugar overintake :-)

Vietnam, Tibet and Thailand (the spiky bespectacled nation) are far less well-fleshed-out, so all one can say for now is that Vietnam is a boat girl, Tibet a Buddhist monk and Thailand a...spikily bespectacled.

I'd love to see a Quebec! I can just picture the family photo, ahaha, Canada will not stand a chance to France~
