[Game Mod] Civ4 Hetalia: Italian TAMASHI!!!

So, I've read a few comic strips involving Lovino and I realized I have yet to give him any text for the Civilization game mod I released a few days ago. So I figured, why not give him some custom dialogue. His harsh, provocative way of speech will be an excellent foil to the friendlier, endearing Feliciano.

I played a game with him as leader of Italy and he managed to piss off 4 people in a couple of turns, 3 of which are his neighbors.

Note the names of his 'worst enemies...'


By the way, Germany killed him a couple of turns later...
RIP Lovino...be glad it wasn't Russia or England who got to you first...

So...I added a few more flavor text for Feliciano as well. Here's a few screenshots.



I somehow missed this comic strip, I'm glad I found it today. Here's my version of it in the game:

Also, I realized that in my previous posts, I did not show screen shots of the in-game Italian Civilization's unique unit and building (Something only they can make and no other civ can).


The mighty "PASTA!" House, which I had to nerf after realizing it was sort of overpowered. It also has a long ass flavor text which I took from wikipedia, the "Origins of Pasta". lolwut~

And now, we have, the famous ITALIAN TANK! (A talented unit designer made it, I simply "altered" it a bit to suit the game tastes, try and guess what I did:

Awesome! I have Civ 4 and the expansion, so I immediately dowloaded this!
...The only problem is there's a bug, because the text is invisible by some reason every time I open it...
(By the way, I should say it is because of this post I dowloaded Civilization 4 and started to play it! Now I'm addicted to this game).

First off, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

As for the mod, it is still incomplete so some dialogue might be invisible at some parts, but for the most part (First Contact, War Declaration, Greetings) should be visible...

OH I THINK I KNOW WHY! Are you playing Civ4 on another language? I must have created the text to only show on the English version!
(Sorry, my programming not so good. I copied the game coding from the original game and I'm running Civilization 4 on English).

Try switching to English language inside the game options, see if the text appears when you play.

Thank you for letting me know, I will try to make the English text visible on all language versions of Civ4 when I update it.

Also, let me know if you switch the game to English but the text still doesn't show.
If so, try reinstalling the game? I'm sorry if that didn't help -.-"

Roughly the same, I just added a few more dialogue lines in. I'll be doing it gradually with Iggy, France and Germany so I'm hoping I can release something new at least once a week.

Civ4 has 2 expansions, but if you bought the one with beyond the sword, then you're good. The link to the mod can be found at the very end of my post, below the 2 italian tank screenshots.
