Title: The Gift of Being Able to Focus One's Attention to More Than One Place

A/N: Guess the movie cited. Inspired by something I read on the netz.

They don’t go out to normal places often, mostly because a) Wang Yao always said that he would rather die a natural death than be stampeded and left for the dead by the crowds of young teenagers (this was always said with a shudder) who populated movie theatres, malls etc and b) for some reason, Ivan always ended up at Yao’s anyway, so it was no point suggesting anywhere in Moscow.

But this Friday is somehow planned with movie tickets and buckets of popcorn in mind, and they ended up in the back seat of a dark show room, Ivan on top of Yao and Yao’s hand inching up Ivan’s shirt, his hand hooking on the waistband of his pants while he stared at the screen.

Russia admired China’s capability for multi-tasking, but when one hand was languidly popping open the fly of said pants, the impressiveness of being able to make out and concentrate on a film at the same time was beginning to grate.

“Yao, you’ve seen this before,” he murmurs, nicking his lover’s earlobe to bring his attention back.

“Mm, I don’t see your- ah- point,” breathes Yao, clutching at Ivan’s broad back to bring him closer. “Besides, yes, right there- I’ve always- Oh my God that did NOT happen in the Battle of Red Cliff!”

And then Yao is pushing Ivan off him as he straightens to swear at the screen and how Zhu Geliang and Zhou Yu wanted to kill each other when they were both that age and what was the world coming to now, when even historical figures were degenerating into nothing but a pile of slashy fangirl fodder for the internet. And his hands are still running themselves over Ivan’s chest, in a sort of come-hither manner that usually foreshadows a locked bathroom and an emergency make out session in the near future.

It’s really his fault for having a near bipolar boyfriend, but Russia is sure that he can think up ways to put the multitasking to use.
