Polish version of second manga volume

...is coming in late March :)

Also I have some good news for people who was worry about bad reactions of people here after the first one - nothing happened. I wonder why publishers from other countries wont choose this title - esp if it's so popular...

It's the government's way of saying "we don't support this". Their way of preventing something that could somehow influence or offend the people-mostly them-is to keep it from arriving in the country.
Most countries don't seem to have a bad reaction to Hetalia. I watched the first press release thing of Korea freaking out about it; they need to realize this is one guy's representation of the world. It's not going to blow anything up or make people suddenly sympathize with an enemy or something. And it doesn't make any country look bad. It's a record of history using pictures and lovable characters.
oTL some people...just can't over some things in their nation's past.

=^..^=~

Congratulations!~

Well, in Russia, it's even usual to find hentai or yaoi manga in children's section in some small book stores. Nobody cares about that, especially the government. xD Hetalia wasn't published here yet, but it was announced already. :3

Now I have the reason to learn Russian!

Then do it. x) But I wish nobody to find oneself in a manga section of any Russian store, little anime fangirls could be really dangerous there. xD

not at all xD ... but there is lots of PC stuff going about ethnicity, nationality and all... and that's why I think the government is quite opposed to release a manga which shows so many stereotypes.

*nod* that as well as the fact that some people /may/ take offence in how their country has been portrayed... and using any kind of stereotypes in the UK may cost you >> ...but I guess that's what you get when you have such a multicultural country

...Really though it is so over the top. *REALLY wants it released ><*

Really? With stuff like Mock the Week and all those panel shows that the BBC makes with our taxes, I do think British people can take a joke or two. Also Blackadder was really well recived, despite the last season was on WWI (the ending is just so memorable). I don't think a webcomic as small as Hetalia would do much in the news.

Anyway, since the anime is licensed in the US. The manga should follow up soon.

Excellent~ I'm glad the first volume was received without much controversy. It's a good sign!
