[fanart] HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA
WHEW. I made it in time! Well, for Canada, anyway, not for Japan's time.
But here's a CG I did for Canada's birthday, which is July 1st. America's is coming up soon, too! (I had originally wanted to also do another pic for Hong Kong's event today, but O_O)
Title: Happy Birthday, My Sweet
Author/Artist:
youkofujima
Character(s) or Pairing(s): USA/Canada
Rating: PG
Warnings: Kiss (sort of), also (twin)cest if you think of America and Canada as twins/brothers, etc.
Summary: Happy Birthday

I wanted to have them look at each other without their glasses getting in the way.
Oh lord, my Canada (without glasses) look like the way I draw Lithuania. I need to find a way to remedy that. I like the way this pic turned, though, for the most part.
Took me about two, three hours? Done in SAI Paint Tool.
Sorry to Canadians!

I don't see Canada and the US as twins or brothers. There are only two options and both could be considered historically accurate:
1. Canada is America's half brother because he is the child of France and Great Britain.
2. He's not related because he is France's child who was stolen by Great Britain.

Aaah, I guess they're half-brothers, then. Because Great Britain had introduced America to Canada by saying: "This is your brother," to which America replied in surprise: "Whoa, our faces...are exactly the same!"

So, so very much.
It has a nice soft feel to it, plus I love your style to begin with.
Great job!
USA/Canada is such a cute pairing.

We like being overtaken by America on the best of days.
