Summary: Holland would do anything- anything to keep Japan as his own. Based loosely on occurrences before and during the "Sakoku" time period of Japan- the isolationism that created a 400 year relationship between "Oranda," or the Netherlands, and Japan.
Netherlands became a very dark and plotting character...I was totally planning on making him someone happy...someone like Denmark... but then history happened...
Based loosely on actual historical occurrences that I spun to create his character.
