HETALIA friending meme
Hi guys! I come out of lurking with a friending meme. I hadn't seen one for this fandom yet, plus, who doesn't like meeting new people? Just fill out the form in a comment on this entry and START BEING FRIENDLY DAMMIT. :3

Age: old
Gender: Female
Favorite character(s): Oh god, do I really have to? XD; Most likely Lithuania, Russia, Hong Kong (so far, visually) and Japan.
Fav. pairing (if any): Russia/Lithuania
Other fandoms you're in: Jojo's Bizarre Adventures, Sengoku BASARA
Any other interests or hobbies? ...fandom is life...sadly. Though I also love karaoke, my job, going with friends, and history.
Anything else you'd like to say? Huge history buff and political science major. So I guess this is my niche fandom? *laughs*

It was awful then? I've only ever read the manga version...which was special.
Yeah, Sengoku is already pretty obscure in the states as it is, I haven't met too many people who've actually played it orz

It was pretty bad, they took out all the historical context (all names were changed. Date Masamune became "Azure Dragon," Sanada Yukimura="Scorpio," Sarutobi Sasuke="Talon," etc. etc...) and added new moves to the characters (new attacks) and made the levels harder than the Japanese version. Plus backgrounds and music were completely changed to give it a less...Japanese history feel and more of a "wtf" feel.
Which manga did you read? The magazine version, or "Ranse Ranbu?"
Not even I have played it yet, and I live in Japan O_o; but I have read all the manga and was pretty active in the fandom...small as it was.

wat
Oh Um, Ranse Ranbu, I believe. I love how that mangaka also draws yaoi hahaha.
Really? I loved Sengoku Musou, I thought it was much more well made then Sangoku Musou(although I love that too <.<)

Luckily i got my Russian History fix last year i think i got high on it and enough cold war to make me die a happy woman.
I also had my brief stint with The Expulsion of Sudeten German's from Czechoslovakia after the Second World War. Yay for history papers
