Thank you; they're so moe, I love to draw them, especially Finland. <3 LOL; Russia and Near actually go together surprisingly well, because one looks childish but acts mature, and the other looks like an adult but accts VER childish.

Thanks! XD; The idea was just to grab three moe characters from Hetalia and draw them together, and these guys are the ones I can draw off the top of my head, so...a strange picture was born! I haven't seen many pics containing Finland and Japan together, much less with Latvia thrown in. =)

XD; LOL; I know lots of people hate Near. I still can't quite fathom why (short of the ones who love pairing Matt and Mello, and bash Near automatically as a result.) Anyway, most of my watchers on DeviantArt are Death Note fans, and a conversation with one of them inspired the comic. =)

*shrug* Not everybody has to like every character, I respect your opinion. Really the only thing that irks me about people who hate Near is when they mischaracterize him and bash him unnecessarily just because they don't like him. This applies for any character, actually--why waste time creating "hate fanworks" when you could be making fanworks for a character you actually like?

Anyway, the above is not aimed at you--I'm not calling you a Near-basher just for not liking him, don't worry. ^^; As for the "Near cheats" thing, LOL, so do Light, L and Mello on occasion, so I don't see why only Near should be called on it! ;P

And as for the cheating thing, Mello doesn't cheat. xD And Light's a baddie, so cheating is his job. As for L, he cheats, but he's more... entertaining about it than Near is. =3
