Summary: I drew this after learning about what happened to Italy at the end of WW2. I apologize in advanced for the quality of the colors, scanners wash them out.


Sorry there's not more to Germany, I reaaaally can't draw him. My friend's told me he looked like a door! D8 And I'm really proud with how Italy's hand came out. ^^


I included the lineart (may be digitally colored) so if anyone wants to color it, they may, but please credit me.

I haven't been given much details on Italy after WW2 expect that they killed their leader when they realized that they are losing to the allies. Just detail description of Germany and Japan. What happened to Italy?

Basically, the Allies invaded Sicily and began their march towards Rome. It was around this point that Italy split into two different governements. Southern Italy wanted to work with the Allies while Northern Italy was still loyal to Germany. Germany went south to try and protect the stratigically important Italy. At the same time Germany was trying to protect itself from the Soviets that threatened to invade. In order to portect Berlin from the Soviets, it abandoned Italy as a lost cause. In April Germany surrendered to Western. In the end all Italy really had to do after the war was pay a lot of money as compensation.
I'm not sure if this is completely right, the internet can give a lot more information.

That's Interesting, i didn't know that. I've been looking everywhere for Italy surrender information but i always come up with nothing. Thanks for that history lesson sensei!~

I wondered if this could this be the reason why in APH there is a N. and S. Italy.
