"It's really fun to look into the histories and episodes of the national anthems.
Oh, and I bought a CD series of national anthems that included countries that aren't officially recognized.
Sealand's national anthem is actually pretty cool, and I've been listening to it a lot."

I've played Greece's national anthem while on tour in Greece with a youth orchestra I'm in. (well, now I'm an alumni but anyway) It was quite an exceptional peace! And Greece has a very VERY long national anthem. 158 stanzas!! At least we didn't play all those stanzas!

Hmm... Sealand's national anthem is quite... heavy. Quite the use of Bagpipes in the version I listen to makes it sound very march like. It would be quite fun to play in an Orchestra!

Ohh... a whole concert... dedicated to all the contries of the world...

what a concert that would be... *drool*

I was in a youth band and choir that toured 7 countries in Europe and it was fun to learn and play the national anthems. We all grumbled about France's because of the key change.

G isn't bad at all, it's just when it changed that we always griped about. Star Spangled Banana stays where it belongs in the key of B flat!

but the songs won't load for me :< they bugger and play like half a second then buffer some more...wahh.

Once it starts buffering, you can put it back into its little form and it'll keep on buffering- so you don't have to listen to the annoying bursts of sound. X3

Can't make up my mind which I'd like to play! Trumpet part in France's would be fun! But there's also a great Horn part in it! Or I'd play voila in an orchestra version. Or I could dig out my flute as well! National anthems are so much fun! I'm glad I'm not the only one nerdy enough to have them on my mp3 player...

LOL yeah. Personally I like the French version of Canada's anthem better...it just rolls of your tongue more.
Also. Is it just me or does Austria's sound extra peaceful and mellow? I can just IMAGINE Austria sitting there with tea in hand and whatever happens he just goes, "Ah, go ahead, I don't mind." :D
POLAND is my favorite oh my god it's so dancy and cheerful and amazing! It's like "Yeah, we'll TOTALLY DO THIS!"

Sealand's national anthem is actually, pretty nice... I've always kind of like Poland's anthem, especially when you read the lyrics.

Hmm just from reading through the comments it seems there are a lot of you guys who would like copies of the countries anthems. I actually have a lot of them on my computer already becuase my sister's school had an international day... and she wanted to bring a bunch of national anthems. I'd need to add more and take off a couple but I could through something together... since the FST I was working has me stumped (and has way too much ABBA on it too).
