It's a sort of alternate short inspired/fanmade from Qualapec's fic, Three-legged dog. Ivan is referring to the Third Reich. READ THE FIC.

I'm quite curious as to what exactly this alternate version entails. I love the idea of them having this conversation, but I'm very curious about what the context of the conversation is in your head?

...Hmm. The context of it was just Ivan coming up to Germany, after Germany has learned the truth behind the Third Reich, but can't act- and stating what Germany already knows in result of that knowledge, but still regrets: that in the end (/eventually) it will fall. That was the original idea, with Ivan then preparing Germany for the crash after the fall of the Third Reich by warning of him of it; but as my ideas change constantly, I didn't add the section about how it will, eventually, fall, (eventually being the key word) and instead changed it into more of what I used for this weeks prompt on APH contest - that he has experienced the crash of his government before, and in his round about way, is offering support to someone who will go through the same hell as he did.
I hope I didn't just confuse the hell out of you. xD; I overcomplicate EVERYTHING, and tend to splurge my thoughts, with little to no structure. xD; You reminded me of my original idea though. 8D My writing is so erratic, I always have to edit it to keep it on track. D:
