[COSPLAY] Closet cosplay!HK?

Well I just looked into the mirror last night and WHOA WTF SELF

So I wondered if anyone got any suggestions of what the huge shirt should be made of, since well. I think just normal fabric would make it look fake. FYI, the one in the picture is sleeveless and like 2 meters long wtf. Probably cosplaying a Chibi version of him since I'm not that MANLY. LINKS TO DOLL SHOES WITH EXTRA HEIGHT WOULD BE NICE TOO You know. How do you crossplayers BREATHE? I WAS LIKE-- Okay so I used a scarf to make my chest flatter. T_T;;

Sucky picture is sucky. Took one with the camera but it DIED so I have to wait 'til charging's finished so I can get it out DDD: Oh and if anyone's going to DesuCon, Oslo, Norway as an APH character next year TELL ME, k? :3 Because I might show up as HK and if I'm the only one cosplaying APH I'll feel lonely ;A;

I have money on most crossplayers breathing through some sort of osmosis or like frogs. 8| Something tells me binding up your chest=no air

I had no idea there was a con in Oslo! *clearly lives under a rock* When is it?

There's a girl I know that uses some sort of compression garment that they use on people after surgeries. From what I've seen when I've cosplayed with her it works pretty well! I don't know about the whole breathing thing though- I'd have to ask XD

Apparently it's been established that I breathe through osmosis, as that conversation actually took place when I was cosplaying last weekend, but for other people I believe it just takes getting used to. You should practice binding your chest while you're just sitting around at home and it's easy to go adjust it if you need to. It takes some practice to figure out how tight you should do it to make sure that you're flat without actually being in pain. What you should use for binding partially depends on how much you need to bind. If you're a smaller cup size like me, then you can probably get away with just wearing a sports bra, wrapping an ACE bandage around it, and safety pinning the bandage in place.
