Anyone in the Orange County, NY area?

Does anyone live in Orange County or any of the surrounding counties in New York? Areas I could easily get to include: Middletown, Pinebush, Goshen, Poughkeepsie, New Paltz, Kingston, etc. Would anyone like to meet up? I'm free pretty much all the time. The meet up can be cosplay or non (I prefer cosplay, though). We can discuss ^^

Edit: My town is 1&1/2-2 hours away from NYC, if any NYC peeps feel adventurous and would like to see what it's like out here in the boonies XD

well I'm feeling a bit adventurous lately. I lead such a boring life so long travelling appeals to me lol I'll ask my parents about it. :) But how do you get to your area from NYC exactly? (by public transportation, I mean, since I don't drive.)
