I suppose not everyone can tell... What's burning is Russia. As in, the way the Russians slashed and burned everything to keep the Germans from having it. I just think that's awesome.

I think this was answered in the inquiry thread. I wondered the same for the longest time. Some joke about some Russian soldiers pulling up water spigots and carrying them along because if they did so, they would have water wherever they went. Anyway, it's just sort of turned into his generic weapon of choice around here.
