[FANART] WHEN THE COLD WAR MEETS THE FILM INDUSTRY...

Ok, this is my first time posting fanart anywhere. And I mean first time ever. I'm so nervous...

But, here we go!

Character(s) or Pairing(s):
USA, UK, Russia, Lithuania. (+ Ukraine)
Rating: G
Warnings: crappy art boxing outfits and naked male upper bodies. Yes. Boxing. Possible lulzz. And big-ish pictures!
Summary: So I was watching this movie yesterday and...

...this happened.

Uhm, yes. I HATE THEIR CLOTHES, Liet, what the heck are you wearing? ...but that's not the point here :D
Liet's really afraid that Ivan might lose. (...he doesn't like angry Ivan...).
Aaaand Arthur really looks like he doesn't want to be there, but he still is! We all know he looooves Alfred~

Anyway, about the film, Rocky IV. You all should see it if you haven't already! My history teacher actually showed us some clips from it, for the movie represents the American view on the cold war so well.  I found the film hilarious (though it's hard to say why, it probably wasn't supposed to be :D). The antagonist is a HUGE Russian called Ivan Drago, and I just couldn't help but think about our own Ivan.

So, this happened. I'M SORRY. But I had fun drawing it.

For an extra, here's Ukraine dressed as Finland.

I messed up her hair, oh dear.

I've actually lived my whole life in Finland, but my dad's family comes from Ukraine. I look just like my grandmother (who died when dad was just a kid) who was 100 % Ukrainian. Soooo that's why Ukraine!

That's all for now. I love you all~!

I'm just a horrible horrible Dolph Lundgren/Russia fan - which is ironic, as Dolph's very clearly Swedish and looks nothing like a Russian. But as long as he gets his kit off and plays Russkies, I'm happy. (I have to admit I know the whole dialogue of "Red Scorpion" by heart. And it's not because it's such good dialogue...)

Well, he plays a lot of Russkies (and writes himslef Russkie parts ... like in the film he directed and wrote, he was basically Nicolai from Red Skorpion 15-20 years later). :)

Get your hands on Red Scorpion. Dolph's never looked better (even though he was taking steroids back then, but every action star did). I use him as a character model for my writing a lot. :)
