[cosplay] wretched ahoge ;_;
Anyway, I was thinking of going as Romano in the next convention (whenever that would be), but the thing is I don't have any idea how to make the ahoge!
And so I ask you guys: any ideas how I can make it? o_o; I'm sorry, I am made of immense fail when it comes to creativity and arts and crafts. U_U
Thank you so, so much for all your helpful comments, guys! 8D You've all been a BIG help to me! ♥ I'm going to try and start making the hair for my costume now. Wish me luck~ ;D (I swear, I can't thank you guys enough. ;3;♥)

Take a sturdy piece of wire of the right length,
glue some strands of hair to it
(that is either taken from or at least the same color as your wig).
Let each side dry separately and in case some hair still sticks out,
smooth it down with your fingers and a little bit of hairspray.
Bend curl into shape, while the other end gets bend into a tiny little hook
- so you can hook it into the net of your wig when you wear it
(you can also sew/bind it to the net if you're afraid of it falling of, though mine never did).
(I'm not the best example, but whatever -> http://animexx.onlinewelten.com/fotos/foto.php?id=4283710)

I did a closet America cosplay and it got my Nantucket to stay in play like woah.
the Got2B styling gel might work too.. those are the only products I've found to work on wigs. Best part is, if it doesn't work or you mess up, it just washes out with water.

and glue/attach it - either with or without wire, depends on which method you prefer to form the curl - to a flat hair clip or hair slide (which should also be in a similar tone to your own hair color) and clip it under the top layer of your hair.
You could also secure the hair over that part with a bit of hairspray, to make the clip less visible .

Just spray the piece you need, starting at the base first, and hold the heat near it until it dries. Then you work your way up (or down) styling it as you go. This is what I did for my Austria cosplay, and that ahoge didn't move a lick even after 6 hours. XD

I've been cosplaying Romano and using this method works really well.
