[Anime] Airing time!

Hey guys, it appears that this page has given us a tentative air date for the Hetalia anime! It says that the Hetalia anime will start airing in January. I'm not entirely sure about the reliability of the source myself (others will probably be able to confirm it for me), but if it was true, that'd just be too awesome. That'd mean it'd only be three months away ;D

So, kiddies, discuss!

You mean a couple of months away since it's nearly mid-November already.

I haven't seen a list for the Winter 2009 anime yet, so it's still in the air but at the same time the anime has been in production for a while now. I guess we have to see.

But I'm excited and can't wait for it. I hope it gets subbers.

but I wish, even if it's just in 5 minutes, they should at least make LOTS and LOTS of episodes. Hetalia has so much material that they could come up with episodes as many as the likes of naruto and bleach xD hehe

I. Absolutely. AGREE IN EVERY POSSIBLE FORM. I think it should be though that means, most likely, we'll only get one song, since both Masaru and Damekko Doubutsu only had an OP which stuck through all 20 something episodes of both series... I had to go out and buy volume 7 of Masaru after that, just to see how the series tied up but Usuta didn't really do anything conclusive in the end anyway. It'd be sad if Hetalia was only 26 episodes or something as well.

Damekko Doubutsu still needed way more than 26 episodes but yes it was so good. XD But Hetalia has so many more characters, 26 would hardly do it justice. It should be like Chi's Sweet Home and have just over 100 :D~~

I saw that earlier XD cause I kept checking that site everyday to see if they'd update the date. I'm soooo excited~! ^^ And I don't mind the idea of 5min eps much, just as long as there's LOTS of them! *_* And a cool op animation. Probably won't have an ending anim though unless like someone mentioned they do like Azumanga Daiou.

Moon Phase is probably the most reputable anime news site out there. It's where almost everyone gets their news from.

As for five minute episodes, keep in mind this probably means it will be broadcast five or six days a week, not just once a week.
