[Fan Poetry] Three this time...

I should really stop writing Hetalia Poetry. The second two were for homework a few weeks ago that never got up here. The first one is brand new, written only a couple hours ago.

Title: Stand Off
Writer:[info]mydetheturk
Countries: Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Russia, unnamed others watch
Rating: T, probably.
Warning: Violence, Vikings, Berserkers

Two stand off,

Hate building –

No,

Billowing off them

Others stand watch.

No one knows

Who threw the first punch –

Denmark, probably –

And another

Had to be restrained,

Prevented from joining.

All the others watch,

Shocked,

Barely realizing that

They’re watching

Something that hasn’t

Been seen in over

A thousand years

Two Vikings –

In their prime –

Out for blood.

The one restrained,

Fearful,

Shouts a warning,

A single name,

Throwing himself

At the one attacking –

Distracting him –

But getting injured

In the process.

The taller one

Stopped fighting,

Seeing Finland’s blood.

His own blood boiled,

Releasing

A berserker’s rage –

He was a Viking –

Onto the one that

Hurt his "w’fe."

Even Russia

Helped to hold Sweden back,

Remembering the days of old

Where tales of the

"Oxenstierna" flied free,

Told with fear –

With good reason –

They were the fiercest

Most violent,

Of the nations then,

Excluding, perhaps

Mongolia.

The Fin’s wound

Was shallow,

Barely needing wrapped.

He kept telling the other

That he was fine –

No need to worry,

And "I’m not your wife" –

Was heard many times.

A disaster was averted,

A small sacrifice was made,

Wounds would heal –

Then again, what wouldn’t?

Of course, Denmark

Was the only one to hear

Finland say

"Next time,

You’re going down."

Title: When I see you
Countries/Parings: Russia/Lithuania, OCs (Siberia, Moscow, Alaska)
Rating: Eh, PG?
Warning: Not!Crazy!Russia?

--

When I see you,

I think of a time

When you would teach

Aleksandr and Nikolas to skate

On ice, a sheen of glass

Or

When I see you,

Sitting at the piano

With little Svetlana,

Ivory keys flowing

But…

When I see you now,

Crazed look in your eyes

Water pipe in hand,

And

When I hear you,

A "kol" quietly wafting around

I stand in fear

Not of you –

Never in fear of you –

I stand in fear

Of what I see you becoming

When I see you now.

Ivan. My dear Ivan.

Done for English homework – I edited it a bit, the "sheen of glass" portion wasn’t in there originally. So, it’s from Toris’s point of view; I used the names so my teacher wouldn’t get confused – I probably should have used the countries, then I might not have gotten a 15/20. She took of points for "no metaphors that I can see." Just ‘cause you can’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not there.

Aleksandr is Siberia, Nikolas is Alaska (So that part was before 1867, when Alaska was sold to the USA), and Svetlana is supposed to be the federal area around Moscow. So… there’s my historical content.

Title: A Unique Family
Writer: mydetheturk
Countries: England, Scotland (who actually showed up in one of the comics, just his voice though), OCs (Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland) Mentions of Russia, Japan and America,
Rating: Meh, G-PG, one of the two.
Warning: None really, other than OC Nations

---

Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh and North Irish

Ten piercing green eyes

Four to the redheads

Another four to the blondes

And the final two to the one

With black upon his head.

Two were the basic "leaders"

Of that family –

The eldest blond

And

The eldest ginger

Speaking their voices to the world.

Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh and North Irish

Seamus – Irish lilt, eldest in the family

With caustic Gaelic tongue

Douglas – Scottish burr and the second eldest

Never seen without a kilt and claymore

Arthur – English tones and third

Barely beating his twin

Caddock – welsh and lack of vowels equals

A language understandable to only a few

And lastly is

Danielle – Both Irish and English, as she’s North Irish

Pretty flaming hair and the only girl

Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh and North Irish

Five different people are

Five different countries.

Running the place with

All the others –

Like

Ivan Braginski – or Russia

Kiku Honda – or Japan

Or even Alfred F. Jones – AKA the USA

Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh and North Irish

But the Kirkland family

The British Isles…

Is rife with magic

And,

Unlike the others

They can actually see

The powers of the mystics

And believe

Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh and North Irish

Ten piercing green eyes

One unique family

 ---

More English homework. This is actually over twice as long as it had to be. (had to be twenty lines, this is 45)
Seamus = Ireland
Douglas = Scotland
Caddock = Wales
Danielle = Northern Ireland

Okay, historical content:

Ireland was once a country by itself, but was taken over by England. (Sounds bad, right?) When Ireland regained its independence, a small portion stayed behind – that would be Northern Ireland. (1922)

Wales and Scotland were once separate countries as well, but now they’re part of Great Britain. As stated above, I believe Wales and England are twins

Question, Anyone besides me think there should be a Poetry tag? Would it get used?
