[fanfics] more crossovers!

Okay, so I was trying to write more junjou crossovers, but you know inspiration, it comes and go in a fashion worthy of a Boy George song. So here we have two 100 words oneshots (crossovers) and one longer oneshot (moar crossovers), though only one of them is junjou.

Title: The legendary ninja
Characters/pairings: Cuba/Canada, mention of America
Rating: PG
Warning: hem, attempted fluff?
Crossover: Naruto, I guess. Or any ninja manga.
Summary: The day when Cuba lost is job, all due to those huge blue eyes
.

The first time Cuba met Matthew the invisible, the legendary ninja of the maple clan, it was at the Havan fortress, during a moonless night. He and his men had been hired to guard the scrolls containing the secret battle plans of the lord. It was a boring job, for no one seemed to have any interest in those plans.

One night though, during his guard, someone entered the fortress…

***

Cuba yawned for the nth time that night. He tried to keep his eyes open, but it was no use. He checked the scrolls on last time and then turned around to leave. Since he was too tired to keep watch tonight, he figured he could ask someone else to take his place. Exchanging turns wasn’t supposed to be allowed, but heck, it was that or falling asleep on the job. He slid the shoji door and entered the adjacent room where his men slept.

Cuba looked at them and frowned. Something felt wrong here. On the mats that covered the floor, thirty men slept peacefully, in silence. Everything in the room was still. Too still. Half of these men should have been snoring or tossing around.

Dread filling his guts, Cuba turned around and rushed back into the treasure room. He managed to catch a glimpse of a figure standing near the scrolls, but then the second after it was gone, becoming one with the shadows. It all happened so fast that Cuba could have doubted he had even seen anything, but he knew better. He was a ninja, after all. And that mop of blonde hair he had had the time to see was unmistakable.

“Alfred! It’s you, isn’t it! You dog of the Donald clan!”

There was some shuffling in the dark, and then an angry voice answered, coming directly from behind him.

“No I’m not!”

He whirled around to find the blonde figure standing between him and the door. When had he…? The blonde man was glaring at him, with stunning bluer-than-blue eyes.

“I’m not Alfred!” he continued. “Why does everyone think I’m him? We don’t even look like each other!”

“Who… who are you then?” he inquired, trying to grab one of his kunai unnoticed.

“I’m Matthew of the Maple clan!” he exclaimed angrily, gesturing to his headband. “Alfred’s my brother, but I hate him! He ruined my business!”

“How so?” Just a few inches more, and he could defend himself. The man didn’t seem to have noticed his efforts yet.

“I used to be the invisible legendary ninja, you know! I was the stealthiest, and I could enter any building and steal anything without getting caught! And even if someone saw me it wouldn’t matter, because no one could remember my face!! But then Alfred started making a fool out of himself and now everyone thinks I’m him! I can’t go anywhere without someone accusing me of something he did and I can’t hide in masses anymore!” He complained, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes.

“Really…?” Cuba asked, trying to sound interested. Finally, he slipped his hand in his pocket and grabbed a kunai. As soon as he got hold of it though, Matthew made a move and he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” he said. “I have to do my job and I wouldn’t want to hurt you.”

He snorted. “You can talk, after what you did to my men…”

Matthew gasped with a shocked expression on his face. “I didn’t kill them! I just chloroformed them! Who are you taking me for??!” He looked truly hurt at the other’s assumption. So hurt, in fact, that Cuba even mumbled an apology in spite of himself. An apology to the man who had just made him lose his job, and probably his face.

***

… later, he realized that he had also lost his heart to that man on that moonless night. He blamed it all on those huge blue eyes.

Title: Selfish
Characters/Pairing: US/UK
Rating: PG
Warning: Short, 100 words. Flangst?
Crossover: Junjou
Summary: Alfred wonders about Arthur's name.

ok, for this one guys, I changed some details in the previous crossover of junjou (for those of you who read it.) In short, I just changed every "Iggy" for "Arthur" since only Alfred is supposed to call him that. okay? Link is here: community.livejournal.com/hetalia/1991678.html

“Why can’t I call you Arthur, Iggy? Why can’t anyone call you that except Francis?” Alfred had a hurt look on his face. The British man frowned, his fuzzy eyebrows meeting together in a display that would have been funny in any other circumstances.

“What are you talking about? My parents call me Arthur!”

“Then why can’t I…” he trailed off. He looked like a beaten puppy.

Arthur smiled.

“I’ll let you in on a secret. I have a special name, that only one person is allowed to call me.”

Alfred’s eyes lit up. “What is it?” he breathed.

“Iggy.”

 Title: Soma
Characters: UK, World Administrator
Rating: PG
Warning: weird. If you read the book, you might understand better the angst that I intended. It was supposed to be soaked of it.
Crossover`: Brave new world (Anti-Utopia book by Aldous Huxley)
Summary: In a world where everyone is happy and everything stable, england refuses to follow the movement.

England stirred and winced. This morning’s headache was like a thousand needles out to get him. Suddenly, he heard footsteps head towards the window. He gasped at the sudden light as the curtains were pulled, even though he had expected it.

“You should take soma.” Mustapha Menier’s voice stated.

“I’ll never take that crap.” He growled.

“It’s a shame the country would reject what the people has chosen.”

“It’s a shame the people would choose what the country has rejected.”

“With a pill of soma, pain is an illusion.”

“Alcohol is worth it. The headache makes me feel truly alive.”

I especially liked "Soma"! Brave New World is a very good book and I that's a great crossover! For me, I can really feel the intended angst

Oh, wow. I love the angst in "Soma". I'm not all that far into the book but I can still feel the impact of it. D:
