I'm finally de-lurking~ I've been interested in Hetalia for a while & I read a few scanlations (like the first 2 'chapters' to be exact), but I was never all that into it until I found out more about the characters via a thread on /cm/. And now, I must say, I'm obsessed~~

I'm reeeaally into yandere/yangire characters, so of course, Russia's my favorite of the series. |D
US and UK are tied for second-favorite (but together, they're my favorite coupling~~~) though almost every other character is absolutely loveable.

Oh, so now I have a request (I hope that's allowed). Does anyone have any pictures or fanart of Russia looking really deranged or devious? Yangire/yandere material, y'know? Actually, scratch that. Any nation looking psychotic would be great (I think I saw a yandere-looking America on DeviantArt~~).

And in return... I made some icons from fanart I found on /a/ and /cm/ so if I accidentally, used your fan art without your permission, then let me know... but don't yell at me. :'(

Wasn't it at least a semi-important part of of WWII (the attack after Pearl Harbor, General MacArthur, Bataan Death March, etc.) or is that just nationalism getting to me?

There are, like, five fan-made Philippines-tans on nationslash. I just made a lj profile (floweroverthere) for the second female Philippines with the intent of eventually playing her in the dressing room. It's still a bit under construction, though.

I've been wondering what the reverse of a Tsundere is, so it's cool to see the yandere link. I love Russia, even though he scares the crap out of me. US is my fave, though.

Oh wow, i just checked it out and those OC Philippines-tans are incredibly moe. :D I especially like that one comic of one of the OC's admiring the other nations ("So cool~!").

And all those OC's are pretty accurate too. Haha~

Ahaha, yanderes scare the shit out of me. People say I kinda look like one, but if I ever met someone like that I would run away really fast before I got hit with a faucet pipe XD

Being part Filipino, I kinda felt sad there is no Philipines-tan. But then it might bring up certain things with Japanese history Hidekaz wouldn't want to touch like Bataan. Buuuut there's already the GAR and moe America-tan who I want the key chain of.

Yeah, you have a point about bringing up some questionable subjects when it comes to the Philippines & Japan. I guess I never thought about that. Though it would still be interesting to see a Philippines-tan with a love-hate relationship with US, Japan and Spain. Haha~~~
