I'd like to start by saying I absolutely adore the revolutionary picture. Not only is it beautiful and beautifully executed, but it's deeply emotional. Beautiful work there. Same with Russia, though clearly I'm biased. *indicates her own icon* XD

And poor Prussia, he's gonna get bashed. x3 Shame on you, first you take his vital regions, then you go after his goodies...

That first one is so pretty and sad! You're colouring is really good, the brown background seemed interesting to me, and US/UK's revolutionary uniforms are great. *Likes pictures with Revolutionary War costumes a lot in general*

EEEEE that art is soooo pretty. I wish I could say something more original to express my feelings. But I'm kinda tired.

I always thought that I must have been the only kid in History Class who would get genuinely sad hearing about historical stuff. I was actually kinda sad about the Revolutionary War because it was like two places that liked each other but then money and misunderstandings got in the way or something. (Though I do love the 4th of July and join the douchebaggery with great enthusiasm) Which is why when I found out about Hetalia I knew what my OTP would be hurhur.

I thought it was sad too. I mean, people in America were really conflicted about it throughout the entire thing, what with the whole Loyalist vs. rebels thing. In Hetalia, I think Himaruya did a really good job of making it a more emotional, tragic sort of thing. In the US sometimes it gets glamorized in the history books (our glorious fight for independence against the mean British bullies and their evil taxes, blah blah) but the reality was really quite sad and miserable for both sides. :(
