So I know I spam you guys with pictures all the time BUT I HAVE MORE.

Some progress/final pics of my two versions of Austria (I posted the blue one before but it was a sub-par picture SO. I have nice ones...)




Without the cravat, it just isn't Austria. Also, Prussia's peep. (I couldn't resist it was just sitting around.)




Obviously unfinished. Second pic to detail the trim. I'm in love with it... All I have left are the cuffs and a few bits and pieces and then I can hem the bottom up. :3


It is horrendously hard to find buttons with eagles on them. Funny, considering I live in the US and you'd think that maybe it'd be easy to find our national bird on something..... But I'm ridiculously happy with these.

I'm wearing these to Fanime and I duly hope to see a Hungary at the Black and White ball (I'm finishing the white coat for that) to dance with! X3

AHH you're going to Fanime?! I'm cosplaying as Hungary! Unfortunately I don't really have anything black or white to go to the ball in that suits her. lol.

Oh, sweet!! Well, I haven't started yet. :D I have all the materials, and I'm going to start on it this weekend. It's hell week for me with school and all. D: Which version are you doing, though?

I like green-uniform Hungary over foofy-dress-Chibitalia-era Hungary so I'm aiming for the former but might have to do the latter because it'll probably be easier to make. (Not that I'd be doing much making... mum's the one with mad sewing machine skillz, not me :)) I also don't need a wig because I've got waist-length brown hair and a hairdresser friend already, so that's easy for me!

Haha, I'm doing the said foofy dress. My hair isn't quite waist-length, but it's brown and about the right style anyway, so I'm not going to bother. It WOULD HAVE been waist-length if my mom's hairdresser hadn't gone scissor-happy on me two months before....

Lol awesome! I'll definitely keep an eye out for you! I'm a little concerned about pictures with Austrias and such since I'm 5'10" and the boots have a 2.5 heel. XD So you'll probably know if you see me, haha.

You know the official art where you see the characters lined up next to the heights? I'm maybe four or five cm shorter than Germany. Lol. It's really upsetting. I wish I was shorter!! I feel like I'm 4'10" on the inside!

I know!! I just wish I was as short as I feel my personality is, because all the people I feel like I can relate to from anime that I REALLY want to cosplay are probably around that height, and the tallest guys ever really are in anime is like 5'9", and I'm taller than that! It's ridiculous!

It was McCall's M4626, but unfortunately it's a discontinued pattern D:

I hand-patterned the lapels and the collar on the white coat, though, the first one is basically the actual pattern and the second I modified a LOT haha... It's just the pirate coat pattern, more or less.
