Last time we left off, America was making a face akin to Japan's in my icon. Why is America being yandere? Where did Russia's scars come from? Wouldn't Russia's scarf reek like high heavens??

With how stalker-y that song sounds, it just seems like a perfect Cold War song, from America to Russia. It took me forever to get the finishing touches right cuz I kept forgetting small details.

I had originally really wanted to draw Russia curled up on the floor with a dagger in his side. But then it turned into this, to which I was going to draw him stabbed into the ground, then it was someone standing over him, but then finally it was this.

It's like an illness...

Well, there was something I read before where a guy said: "There is no main character without his supporting characters!" So on a stronger sense, there is no use for a hero if he has no villain to defeat, no villain to make the hero look like a knight in shining armour and define him.

OMGGGGGGG That last line was so amazing and it's such an interesting take on their relationship, but I think it's a really good and deep one! I'm totally in love with how you portray their relationship, but not completely sold on the pairing yet, but it's on my like list for sure!!

In my opinion, America and Russia are like two sides to a coin and so it's hard to have one live without the other, because they technically define each others' existence (just look at how lost America was when the USSR just suddenly disappeared).

Too much angst? I'll try to turn down the notch and draw more of the family thing, lol.

I always looked at the history that is portrayed in American history classes to be this really biased, hero-worshipping sort of thing (America won the war, yay! <--that sort of thing), so his need for a villain is very defined (I can make a few examples, but...)

Gosh, America is frightening when he wants to be? I love how you describe Russia's feelings/state of mind in the second page just using his eyes. I also love how the arm of America's glasses fade in the bottom of the left panel on the first page.

And goodness, didn't you make Russia's profile handsome when he's being choked with two hands? < /guilty pleasure >

One thing: I think the strap going across America's chest on the second page are going in two different directions from the top and bottom drawing of him.

America is frightening to quite a good number of people, I think, without him even knowing it. I really love drawing Russia's eyes, they're very pretty things. Hahah, I wish I can clean this up more so that I can express that fade better.

Russia...well, he's heavily sedated right now, and apparently even if you cut the drip off, depending on how long it's been going, the drugs will take about five hours to wear off and even then the patient will not just snap into awareness but rather be really, really groggy.
