Cosplay at Yaoi-con

There were fabulous Hetalia times at Yaoi-Con this year. I think in total there were probably 12 or 13 countries running around the con? I don't know- for such a new fandom (in America, at least), combined with a smaller niche con, that seems pretty awesome. I think the groups next year at big cons like Anime Expo and Otakon could be overwhelming. :D

And more cosplayers! There was definitely another America (I didn't get your name, I'm sorry!), and I'm pretty sure there was another Italy (according to photos from the con, although I'm sad to say I didn't see her), and well, I was also wearing casual Canada the day before people met up. Because you can never have enough Hetalia! (I've got another several costumes on my to-do list. :P)

I will be joining in on this next time; I couldn't make it up to the con nor get my outfit together in time. I love looking at all of the pictures you guys got though (HOW many photogs? lol). You make the most adorable America (how old did that burger get? hehe).

Hey there! :D

The bun and lettuce on the burger were real, but since I didn't want to have to keep a patty fresh all weekend, I made one out of Fimo. It was entirely too thin (I miscalculated), but still. We didn't end up getting a fridge in our room, so it was quite a good thing I went for the fake option. The bun started to smell a bit, though. :P
